Looks like Buck will clear 140k in sales in less than 12 hours.

Lot of discussion about Magnacut achieving massive gains at higher Rockwell levels. We'll see if Buck's heat treatment is dialed in. For a company like Buck, I'm okay with being an early adopter. There's always room for improvement, but I'm sure this will be a quality product.

According to Buck, these were heat treated to 59 - 60hrc. This is definitely a bit low to get the benefits that a lot of people are looking for with MagnaCut. Personally, I think it’s great for a workhorse with thick blade stock like the 110.

We should be looking at (more or less) cpm-154 levels of edge retention, lc200n corrosion resistance, and nearly the toughness of 420hc. I think it’s a great mix of attributes for the 110.

Yes there’s a great bunch of people here. I sure appreciate you guys. It’s been about 2 months now since I returned to work and my heart is doing well, I’m getting back to the grind. Lol. I have an appointment tomorrow to see what the Doc thinks.
