... these knives are not Pumas. Well, I own a Puma with leather handle that has a perfect surface. But the shown are the cheaper ones, scout's knives with a sales value of 10 Dollar, not more.

IIRC according to Haebbie, the knives he has in his collection [Pumas???] did not use any sealer and were smooth as glass...No hairies, no rough spots...
I don't know...You guys that are content to use them as daily users are missing Buck's mark...CJ has stated they are Limited Edition collectibles...Not workaday tools...And if they're of such questionable quality that you have no qualms about tossing them in your tacklebox and rattling them around in your pickup truck, then Buck is overcharging you and wasting a lot of time and $$$ of their own on a product that doesn't live up to expectations...

I have a boat load of Bucks that excel in quality that cost less than $50 and more that cost more.
Now I have a 119LSE that is a great user that is still a piece of art for less than a hundred and will outlast me.
