Well... that's an old pic. It's a Redear also called shell cracker. It would've probably been caught with a beetle spin, but maybe worms don't recall.

That fish doesn't look very fresh at all. When the knife is good and sharp it is easy to shave the red off and it will taste a lot fresher as well.

Ha, ha. This Gambel went into the freezer because when I got home she was ready to set supper on the table. I like the way my Duke works on these birds. 6 snips and open the vent. Peel out and rinse. My dogs wait around for any treat. The black one wanting it all. DM
