That sale is also a heck of a way to introduce a Buck to someone! The price is so good, for such high-quality, that you cannot go wrong!

The Grip Saw, Strider Spear point, and Alpha Hunters have all grabbed my interest. Now for knives and tools for other folks.... ;)

Thanks for the info. I just purchased the Strider police knife, Alfa Hunter (guthook) and the pruning shears for my Wife. Shipping is free, which is really nice.

I have thought of getting the Revolution-XT as I think it is a neat idea, but the Approach I purchased before was not quite what I expected from Buck. The Approach was made overseas, I think the Revolution-XT is made in the U.S.A. Any comments on this knife. Also I see a Strider for $75, what is your feeling about this knife? It seems like a excellent knife, still $75 is still a bit of change.

I just ordered and I checked my e-mail after I saw your post and I got a confirmation e-mail. Maybe you mis-typed your e-mail address. Or maybe your e-mail thought it was junk mail and filtered it out. Is there anyway to check your junk mail?

Thanks for the heads up on this sale. I bought a Strider, Alpha Hunter, and Police knife. Looking forward to getting them. These are great prices, well below the best Ebay prices I have seen on these models.

i ordered and recieved the ats-34 buck police knife, DAMN only 40 bucks (no pun intended) i am in love with this knife, the feel the light weight and only $40, i initially did not like the knife when i saw it online but was convinced that any knife with ats-34 steel at that price was a bargain, so of-course now i ordered the strider 880 spear point, partially serrated and am dying to do a side by side comparison. i think i have crossed over from spyderco and benchmade. i am in love:p

Well, the Strider (Models: 880T, 880TX - Tanto/880SPX - Spear point) was quite a bit more change when the retail price was $194.00.... ;)

I recently traded into a lightly used 880 Spear Point, and now I'm obsessed. I bought a Mini (wanted the spear point, but had to settle for the tanto). These are really stout, strong knives, and for this price, there is NOTHING out there that compares. Nothing.

Nelly1974--I almost picked up a Police knife too, but wanted to know if this is the one with G10 handles--is it? If not, how does the Tacom material compare? (Does it feel more like zytel? If so, I'll hold out for the G10 version...)

no it isn't g-10, it is glass re-enforced. it does feel like zytel and that is precisely what i like about it ( very light ). i have a boker knife with G-10 handle and am not really that impressed with it. when it comes to G-10, i do not seem to understand what the big deal is. my new strider spx will have the G-10 but i bought it mostly because i have heard so many great things about it and for $75; you can't beat that.

I just placed my order... 2 new striders and a police model for me!
I also did not get an email confirmation.... I will be calling first thing in the morning to check that all is okay. At these prices, I do not want to miss out.
