Good for you! Enjoy your new lease on life. After 7 months of 7 days a week I told them I'm DONE working weekends.
Nobody lies on their deathbed wishing they had worked that extra Saturday or Sunday.
Wow, what scales are on that?
Thanks.Wow, what scales are on that?
Sounds like one of my neighbors. He works at a foundry and could work 16 hrs a day, every day of the week. He usually pulls a double every day of his rotation.Friday actually means something!

I heard that about prison guards and even law enforcement.Wow.
I have a friend that was frequently mandated to work doubles as a prison guard. He retired as soon as eligible.
Sad there's so many good paying jobs out there that are under staffed, further pushing people out of the work force.
I told my employer I would either retire or work part-time. Their choice.
They have been good to me and need the help.
And it keeps my health insurance current.
Besides, you spend your whole life building a career, and just walking away is something I'd prefer to ease into.
Thanks.
