Buck/Hoodlum knife

No, I would never say anything like that.

It was more a comment on the circus-like marketing of the video salesman.

Much of what the circus people call "bally."

For all I know, this knife could be an incredible flop and be made in such limited numbers that it will become a valuable collectible in years to come.

One never knows with knives.

Now that I see the price point at around $150, which is half of what Ron Hood was selling the version produced (not manufactured) by TOPS I'm thinking of adding one to my Buck collection.

We knew you would come around :D ;)
I am considering one also... :o :D

I don't know......I can snag some beautiful old stag 110s and 112s most any time for around $150 and I've already got a bunch of 120s and I've got some old camping axes that will do the "big knife" chores better than any big knife.

Did'nt say I was going to use it for anything, just said I might add one to my collection. I'm really into Filipino martial arts and and I've got it in my head that a Buck Hoodlum knife combined with my Buck Raven Legacy would make a very tactical Espada 'daga combination. Course I'm not a big Ron Hood fan, but thats another story.....

Oh, I'm just talking about me.

I know plenty of other people have their own good reasons to buy one.

It's just that I don't have any such reasons.

:)

I handled the version that was originally made by Fehrman Knives from memory that had the weird double "S" shaped guard - and I thought it was a very lively outdoors knife (and fighter) and especially useful if it did NOT have the integral S guard.

So now, this is actually the first Buck knife in a long time that I have had any interest in buying!

hey guys I still cannot find out when the Hoodlum will be released. Sent an email to a dealer and they responded that they did not know. They have it up for pre-order but no idea on release. I sent an email to Buck yesterday and no response yet. Does anyone know or give me another contact to try??

Stopped by the Buck Factory today to see if I could look at a 113 in the store and asked about the Hoodlum knife. Store clerk told me she did'nt have a date when they would have them to sell. They also did'nt have any 113's which is in regular production now.

is the new one thicker? at kc it is listed as .22" thick. I've also read that it is 3/16" (.188") ???

really like this one
