Yes honey, I "need" the suppressed 45-70 to protect us from the T-Rex that's trying to take our puppy.Three recent acquisitions: 1) New Marlin 1895 "Dark Series" in 45-70 (suppressor ready). I added the bullet quivers. My phone's camera, and probably mostly me, are really bad at photographing anything that is all black, so I added the photo from Ruger/Marlin. 2) New C&C Buck Sprint Ops Pro in S45VN and natural G10. Great fit and finish and flicks with ease. 3) Lastly, a county rescue puppy named Cooper (who wouldn't stop licking the rifle
).

That rifle is awesome. I didn't know it existed and now I want it. Thanks for sharing.
Where I'm from, we usually call that a "sooner". As in, whichever Papa Dog got there soonerThank you. Well behaved and smart puppy. The county had him listed as a "Hound mix". I had DNA done and ended up only being 11% hound.

He is a cutie. I've heard them referred to as 'Heinz 57' because there could be 57 varieties. The county had him listed as a "Hound mix"
That made me smile, that's what we used to call 'em too! Good looking pup, looks like he's got some good strong bones to grow into!He is a cutie. I've heard them referred to as 'Heinz 57' because there could be 57 varieties.
Thank you Tom. I was definitely channeling you when I set up that shot.Sorry for your loss, Matthew.Everything in that photo is terrific, including the photograph itself. A beautiful example of a Model 27 from Smith & Wesson’s golden years. And the knives ain’t bad either.

Nah, that’s all you. If you were channeling me, it wouldn’t have turned out very good.Thank you Tom. I was definitely channeling you when I set up that shot.
Everything is in such great condition. Thank you for the photo! Is the action and trigger pull on the 27 super crisp?Don't be so modest.
The holster is a S&W Blazer of the same vintage. Model 21-26.
