Buck Slim Pro

Are the blade profiles slightly different that the originals? The clip point doesn’t look quite as pronounced and the tip not as pointy. Or is it just because of the computer rendering?

I could do w/o the thumb stud kinda as they kinda ruin the knife for me. I just don't like thumb studs ever, or at least haven't come across any I liked, it isn't that they look bad its just functionally I don't like them.

I have to agree that's the best one of the bunch. It would be nice if the micarta models are around $50 street price.

wonder what the price points are gonna be? regardless looks like a winner for many of my preferences.

Their (GPKnives) current price on the plain LT is ~38% below "retail". If the new models are anywhere close to that discount, they're going to fly off the shelves. It would put the micarta 110 under $70 (Complete speculation! I'm just spitballin' and mathing out loud;) - yes I just turned the word math into a verb) .

That said, that discount % is not the same across all models. The Open Season models show substantially less discount than the LT and Alumni so I'm sure there is some pricing structure that we might be unaware of that could put all of them in a different bucket.

I agree. They should make the thumb studs adjustable, that way you personalize it or completely remove it...

These look great! It’s everything I wanted Buck to do for awhile with one exception. Put an an adjustable pivot on there and it would be perfect. Can’t wait to pick up a 112 and 110 in Micarta.

The way to make the pivot adjustable is to lose the blade pivot bushing and the rivet and replace them with a T-nut and screw like the 30 yr BCCI Reunion knife. This would also necessitate an octagonal recess in the handle to immobilize the T-nut. Blue LocTite would help maintain the adjustment.

Looks like the Bucklite Max folder blade profile to me. Looks like a functional shape

I think you're right, the clip look straighter. The blade profile on the 112 looks close to the 442 or 450 which is a nice compromise between a clip and a drop. A good choice in my opinion.

There can only be one!

112 Auto Elite

There are a bunch of the new ones that I like. But, this is it!!!

I wonder what the thinking was behind the release of so many 110 and 112 variants at this time.

Isn't the SHOT show where we usually see the new stuff introduced?

Thanks Buck for making all the 112's variations !! My faith has been restored.

This is my dream 112. I can't wait until these are released.
