Buck Slim Pro

My 560 looks to be about 7/16" thick. About 2/3 of the thickness of the 110LT. I'd guess we'll see something similar. On the fence about the modified clip, I really, really like the clip on the 110.
visually yep. functionally where such a fine point isnt needed....I kinda prefer the 48x style clip points.

Has anyone heard anything more on the Slim Pro knives? When will they be released and is this exclusive to GPKnives (I hope not. They are not overseas friendly.).

I saw some available yesterday. Don't know if I'm supposed to say where, but if you google Buck 110 slim pro brown, the brown micarta were showing up, but with a $110 price tag.

Well, they show as in stock for $110, but they fail to show a picture, so I'm not sure if it is really in or not. It looks like it will let you add to the cart to buy, and does not say pre order. I think I'm going to wait for the green. Seen where it will be $89?

Yeah some of the sites are showing them as pre-order, I dont think they're available quite yet. I hope soon, really looking forward to this one. Interesting that one of the sites shows the reverse side with the pocket clip, its kind of stubby.

I'll probably pick one up but that clip is coming right off. That is some serious ugly. Hopefully some aftermarket designs will be available soon. Until then I'll be using a pocket slip.

I get lots of splinters and cactus spines. I really appreciate a thin pointy tip. There's nothing like digging something out with a thick drop point for making a big hole. When the big hole is in me, I don't like it so much.

sure always a use. I just dont need much fine to work often.

Found it. Number one, too wide. Number two, deep carry, and it protrudes past the handle looking bad and uncomfortable. Great knife, bad clip. Sorry Buck, but it’s true. Needs toning down a notch. Not a fan of clips with bling going on.

I think something the shape and size of a standard spidey clip would look good on these. Pretty stubby.

I'm fine with it being wide and I like the anvil logo. It just needs to have that protruding corner sanded down flush to the scale profile.

I'll need to have it in hand before I decide if I like the clip or not. Either way, like I said before, not a deal breaker for me. I've been wanting a G-10 handle 110 for years and the clip wont stop me from getting one (or 5)!!
