Happy Tuesday, everyone! We got rained out at work today, so I took the time to sort through a few Buck knives for the show:

This is the oldest of my Buck hunting knife sets aka the Sportsman Set.

I bought this around 1972.The owner of the gun shop was a fellow veteran friend of my dad,so he gave me a small discount.I didn't take my uncles advice to buy a Puma knife instead.As a young kid,I thought I saw the value in buying two knives instead of the one Puma,for almost the same price.My dad supported my choice,so it became a done deal.LOL

Unfortunately I didn't become a Buck collector until two decades later.

Two 055s Bucks fer today. The top one was modified by Michael Prater for a youth knife collectors event. The bottom one is the OEM ebony model.
