• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

BUCKS AND BOURBON

Buck, bourbon and Blackstone...

Temp was in the 60's, so I made some pork chops and fried potatoes on the Blackstone. And after a rough day at work, I needed a drink.

Four Roses Small Batch hit the spot.

So I went to post these a little over a week ago and got an error message saying I was over my limit for attachments. I had well over 100 pages, close to 3,000 attachments. I had to one by one delete them to get them under 500. It was a pain to say the least. not sure why they let us get so far over before doing anything..........Sorry for all the threads I had to delete from. I tried to keep this one as whole as possible.

I am a Martin Guy, but my buddy picked up this Taylor mini and let me borrow it for a few days. I'm still a Martin Guy, but decided to take some pictures with my Taylor ebony handled kitchen knives.

I never really acquired a taste for bourbon, whiskey, or hard liquor in general. I don't know why. My father and brother are alcoholics and I am part Irish and Scottish, so you'd think it'd be in my genetic makeup. I do drink a little beer, so it isn't a religious thing. When I tried it, it was harsh - perhaps an acquired taste. I never smoked anything either, for the same reason. So what, you say? Yeah, you are right.
