BUCKS AND BOURBON

Last time I was in Kentucky, Willett didn't have any bottles available (love their single barrel stuff... never tried the pot still reserve)
It was very hard to come by outside of the distillery, no single barrel at the distillery, pot still is good, not bad at all for the price. I tried some single barrel at a bar in Lexington. It was better than good!

I used to purchase it online - there were a couple of shops that got it - until our oft cursed governor said individuals could no longer have alcohol shipped from out of state.

KY Spirit, very tasty, wish I would have gotten 2 bottles when I was there. Good thing KY is only 4 hours away.

That moose Skinner is gorgeous.

You are definitely the leading curator of all thing ivory. I'm being to think you have your own black market pipeline your keeping from us. But it's only ok because I look forward to the knives you post up, you always have cool and different configurations.

If there's no bourbon, I'll drink scotch:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

This bourbon tastes amazing. Stavorite private select makers. Wish this was readily accessible to me, but kind of glad it isn't. I'd be broke, or at least would have a lot fewer Buck knives:D:D

Makers Mark is always good. Great place to tour too.

I like that skinner. Tell us about it.
Thanks

The skinner does have some good character. It is some dark mastodon bark and was made by Leroy Remer when he was in the old custom shop, most likely late 80's. It is on the small side being a model 921, but it is nice. Thanks for your compliments!

Haven't you heard? SHB has a Mastodon buried in his backyard...:D:D:D:D
