BUCKS AND BOURBON

Wow, so many gorgeous blades, and interesting bourbons. Here's one from me...

I have been to every distillery in KY but that one. And they have probably opened a few since I've been there.....
Cool trip. Spring is /was(?) a great time to go. All the distilleries, many of which pour. Mammoth cave, My Old Kentucky home there in Bardstown.
Nice place to visit.

Well at least the KFC is still open.:)

The only Islay Scotch I have tried is Lagavulin. It was enjoyable, but for the price, I'd take an oaky aged high proof bourbon. I keep a bottle of McCallan 12 for guest that prefer scotch, and my soon to be brother in law(should already be my brother in law, my sisters wedding on March 25th was cancelled(postponed) till August....) likes the scotch, so we drink a pour of the McCallan 18 when were at the trout club:D:D Here is the best tasting under $30 bourbon, at least I think so!

I forgot about this thread.
Re: the Makers Private Select for those that might not know, it's barrel strength Makers 46...with the selector's choice of staves added. I happened to be at the Makers distillery when they debuted the cask strength 46 - it was only 375ml bottles, and it was a plain white label. That stuff never went into distribution... but is still available at the distillery as a Private Select (it's ___'s Choice)

That's all I have left from what I brought home...luckily, I have been able to get the 46 Private Select locally
