For the last 6 months I carry PM2, so it is middle of the road.
But it also has a lot to do with the one´s perspective. For @jceckrosh is middle of the road Umnumzaan, which is for me deffinitely a high end knife.

I love a Zaan, but $400 is a lot of zing... I think that some of us are setting different costs for what we consider as mid-road and high-end.
I think budget is $50 like WE Modus or Cutjack
mid-range ~ $200 various Spyderco, ZT's, Benchmades
and high-end $400 (Busse fixed, Zaan and Regular Sebenza
Custom: $600 and up
Heck, I carry custom Busse fixed blades that are $300-$400.

My EDC is a Spyderco "Salt 2" ($95) in my pocket and a Fallkniven S1 Pro ($200+) in my backpack, so I guess that puts me in the middle of the road category.

I mostly carry customs, but that does not mean they are necessarily my most expensive blades. The rest of the time I EDC either my goofily priced productions or middle of the road traditionals.

The majority of my collection is between 100 and 250 but like others I have a sebenza sm 21 w/cf and a guardian tactical helix nano that are above my normal price range but thats the only 2.

Most of the time I am in the $100-250 league which for me is the « middle range »

I have pretty much the same price range for all 3 categories as you.
It is funny, but every other month I think about sebenza 21......and then I ask myself, do I really need it?

I carry and use everything from a K55K that was less than $20 to a GEC that was $300. I enjoy them all.

I've come to see my max for a knife around $160. I have paid more but I prefer to stick around mid-range
