Budget survival knife showdown.. g803, d-171, td-01

Good luck eating with your ripoff forks and sitting on your ripoff toilet. There comes a point when everything becomes a ripoff.. I dont approve stealing someones work.. if you are refering to my ganzo knife its not a ripoff.. last few knives they made, they designed themselves. So I think thats comendable.

So, if someone broke into your house and stole all your personal belongings, but then months later, got a job and started buying their own belongings you'd just shrug and say "that's commendable"? I'm just trying to follow your logic here.

Ooooooh! The last few!!! Well, let's all give them a big round of applause! After how many YEARS of theft and lying?!

stop and think about it, you're trying to defend ganzo to knife enthusiasts ...
full stop

you'd have better luck converting the pope to atheism
I am not defending anyone.. I'm just happy I could buy an awesome knife for 25$.. seems it rubs some people the wrong way tho..

Yes.. theft is bad.. but for me theft is also charging 300$ for a knife that costs 10$ to make. So there's different kinds of theft.

Added bold;

Any knife they make is the Fruit of a Poison Tree and inadmissible.

Well.. it is commendable.. a positive change. It's still bad what ganzo did before.. but the change is good. People who blame them look at ot from their interest point of view.. my interest is that I got a value there that noone else can offer to me for the price. Not by a mile..

I have friends all over Europe, and parts of Asia, and I find it hard to believe that’s the “best bang for the buck” wherever you are located.

I agree.. and understand.. it sucks, but thats not my problem.. my problem is getting by in life the best I can.. and choose the best service provided to me.
Taxes are everyone's problem. It's one of only two sure things in life! ;)
I like to do more than just get by in life when it comes to knives, so I will generally save for as long as it takes me to afford a quality knife that also supports the people who designed and made it and the business that sold it to me.

You are just jelaus I have a better knife ^^
Oh please. And this coming from a guy whose survival is only worth $25. Even my $25 knives are better than the garbage cloners you posted. Of course, if you care to stick around and participate in the various subforums and threads you will see pictures of what types of knives I own and use. You're above comment will seem embarrassing. No need to apologize though. We all make mistakes.

I respect that. If I lived in US, and had income that could support it, I would probably do the same.
I would buy more US/EU products even as it is if they took care of the huge shipping issues.. meanwhile Chinese ship for free..

Well.. feel free to prove me wrong.. thats kinda the point of this topic..

Have you ever looked into having a local knifemaker make something for you?

If I find a good deal on it delivered that is an option! Thanks.

Hopefully this won't trigger any deal spotting issues as it's a non-domestic retailer and a recommendation for a non-domestic member: Lamnia stocks Moras at competitive prices and should ship to the EU for a reasonable rate. Check them out. You can get the the Robust for the equivalent of a crappy lunch and with it, you're actually being frugal. Not just cheap.

There's even a link there to a video of a couple silly dutchies using a Mora Robust for a bunch of obnoxious "survival" tests. Pretty impressive.

My knife is so sharp the air gets confused on what side of blade to flow so it rips a hole in space time continuum.
