Burgers & Blades

This pic makes me wanna make a road trip to Illinois! :D Looks delicious!

Let's see your favorite burgers paired with your favorite knife. Whether you made it on the grill, or ordered it at your favorite local burger joint, let's see em'! Fast-food dosent count, small-businesses only!

I'll kick it off, this is a new place I found called "Big Sammy's" out here in Illinois. I've been getting their Double Cheeseburger with Cheese Fries and Iced Tea, YUMM!!! It's a simple burger, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, cheese, mayo, ketchup, mustard. But boy, this burger is a behemoth!

Here it stands, next to my Olamic Wayfarer.

I couldn't find the burgers, brats, and blades thread, so I figured this is close enough.

I whent pretty simple tonight, but some of these pics have given me some great ideas. I can't wait to try some avocado and egg on one. That sounds awesome.
EDIT: Oh and this knife just keeps amazing me. It is by far one of the smoothest blades I've ever fondled, and its on washers. It will drop shot like its on bearings. I constantly check it for blade play, because it just feels almost to loose, like the pivot is backing out.
Did I mention its smooth?
 
My favorite was Kirk's Steak Burgers in Palo Alto, CA. This was back when people didn't care about the fat content of under cooking. Used to get their double cheese burger. Bite it and the grease and juices run down to your elbow.

Haven't been there for years.

I know right where that's at, I've never eaten there before though. I'll have to check it out. If you ever find yourself in Elgin check out Big Sammys (north of 90 on Randall behind the giant sushi place lol). It's the burger in my OP, it's an awesome little family owned place:thumbup:

That's crazy. I know exactly where that's at. I lived in IL for 3 years and two of them were in Elgin. Never tried that place though
