burlap micarta?

GEC's 1st Burlap knife!!! Can't explain how excited I am about this one! I'm a HUGE burlap fan.
I'm hoping for Evergreen or Terra-cotta.

Both excellent choices 👍

Here's two I finished with traditional Brown burlap. Really like the look of the burlap!

I've got a love/hate thing with burlap. I like the way it looks at arm's length, but they can never seem to get all of the bubbles out of the stuff.

Aren't 2 or 3 of the colors sfos? Theburlap should be interesting, maybe on the next generation of f&f 99s. That would be sweeet.
Thanks, Neal

I like the look of the brown and the knife pattern they're going to use it on will be a good combination. It should sell well.

Mike has always seemed to favor the natural linen and canvas Micarta's, I'm thinking he continues to ride that wave here. Got one reserved and I'm good regardless of color.

Mike, did you decide what type of burlap micarta? I've got one on reserve.

I'm glad this is an SFO from CK because I know it will be a tasteful choice based on your prior SFO's.

Thank you for the picture Mike! Super excited about this :)

I wonder if GEC will be able to smooth the pivot pin on the burlap micarta. I know on some material GEC has had to leave it a bit rough. I'm guessing, from the picture, it appears like they should be able to sand it so the pivot pin isn't sharp. Will probably just need to wait and see what we get, but hopeful there's no sharp edges at the pivot pin...

Nice!!! Is the final knife finish going to be polished?? Can ya polish Burlap Micarta?? John:)

I was happy to get both a burlap and canvas reserved. If the burlap is anywhere close to my Peña zulu, I'll be a happy camper. (and yes, burlap micarta can be polished, at least that's how Enrique does it :applouse:)
