Bushcraft Knife challenge - Interest?

OK, finally all boxed up. It WILL be in the mail first thing in the morning. Sorry this has taken so long. Darn job getting in the way of free time!

How about some preliminary pics of all the knives you've received so far all lined up next to each other? This is gonna be good.

Your knife really looks good CB. Nice work!

You need to set your goals a little higher Christof.

Well, I can now confirm that atleast one of the judges is corrupt. (not to be confused with KuRUpTD, he's cool and much better looking, in a Herman Munster/Kurgan sort of way)

So if I score lower than Koyote, it's not my fault.;)

We will have some pics up tomorrow evening, maybe today if Marcelo feels like taking some initiative...

Um, does that include trekking over to your house to get my camera back?

I am glad my design inspired one of the tests.

Testing begins tomorrow. We will have some pictures by tomorrow evening.

Tomorrow is the first day that Tony and I have will have had off simultaneously since the deadline, not counting Thanksgiving.

Cool......................thanks. Is this type of thing strenuous on your relationship? At least you had the holiday together.............

In all seriousness, we have an Excel spreadsheet with all the scoring factors on the X and all the knives on the Y. Factors, as were presented earlier include:

Fit and Finish

Comfort/ease of use

Edge retention

Ease of sharpening

Control

Overall Performance (OAP)

Each factor will have a max point value (MPV) of 5, except OAP which is further broken down into 7 (to be finalized tomorrow) specific tasks / methods of use, each of which will have a MPV of 3 for a total MPV for OAP of 21. Thus the MPV for any knife is 46. Let us know what you think.
