The rubber looks like a great handle material, and the overall design looks like a winner. Every knife in this thread is well done. I can't wait for the testing.
 
I've put rubber by itself on a lot of knives and used a lot of g-10, just never put both on one handle til now. I don't think it will be the last though.

Thanks. The heat treat was done by Bear claw knives out of Texas, HT to 57-58. Im really looking forward to getting some feedback both positive and negative from this contest to help me become a better knife maker and refine this design.

I love the Horse stall rubber handle! That stuff takes a beating, I know my Johnson American Bulldog has been chewing on his for 5 years now and still hasnt distroyed it!

Did you guys start any of the testing yet?
 
Testing starts this week! We will do 4 knives every week. When a knife is completed we will contact the maker and arrange sending it back.

If any of you are in a big rush to get your knives back, let me know and I can arrange your knife to be tested in the first group.

There is a small ballbreaker point deduction for that though ;)
