Bushcraft Knife challenge - Interest?

Weird!!! I received Ricks knife in my mail this weekend. I'll make sure and ship it off to you guys later next week ;)

Be careful Brian, I dropped the last knife he made on my Grandmother's shag carpet and chipped the edge all out!:eek:

Oh that knife. I think the parking attendant stole it at the parking garage. If you can't trust a NYC parking attendant who can you trust...

Maybe next time you won't rush me and let me find a spot on the street..

looks really good to me as well. Is the bladed stock removal or forged?

Stock removal. I really want to eventually forge my own blades and hawks but im saving money for a decent forge.

I also dont have a shop yet so no place to forge. Ive been doing all my knife work on the carport and backporch. Just recently got a craftsman 2" x 42" belt sander. That and a 4" angle grinder are the extent of my power tools for knife making.

I just finished knife number five and it sold for $70 dollars at a silent auction. Im hoping to get a few out without having to really sell them and get some feedback, also hoping for some feedback from this competition as well.

I really want to start making them and selling them but I deploy to Afghanistan in a few months so that wont happen for at least a year. But while I am gone I will be saving money for decent tools and a shop and when I get back I plan selling a few knives.:)
 
You know what's really funny is; My sister said the same thing when she saw that pic on Facebook..
