Bushwacker Mistress. . . . Spy Pics!!!!!!. . .. YOWZA!!!!!

Still not a fan of the straight handle groves, but I'm going to suck it up and buy at least one anyway. :) I'm sure it'll work just great, and look better then I'm expecting when I actually get to see/hold one.

Very sweet Big mama after a very nice medium sized Tank buster.. nice variety of knives coming out.. Got to get at least one..

I'm not really liking the new grooves either - I feel like they lack the design element of the more recent offerings.

The black paper somehow looks like a cookie to me. Not sure why.

Actually, all the handles look like cookies. I can't think of what the cookie is called with the grooves in it.

Love the blade, but as a few have said; the machined handles really aren't doing anything for me.

Never thought I'd say this but I think I might actually prefer hand smoothed on this model! :foot::foot::foot:

The more I look at the machining on the handles the more I think there may be an advantage to them.

This is all speculation of course, but I would bet these feel a lot like hand shaped when chopping etc. but the grooves in the direction they run might help the blade from twisting in the hand like happens to me on occasion.

Just a thought.

it needs a heavy swedge and a shull crusher, but I have been drinkin so the thought of TB like options is cracking me up! I can just see Amy-O's face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bushwacker handles have a unique "tree bark" pattern. They are not simply straight parallel grooves. . . they vary in width and depth!!!!! This pattern is a hybrid between an aggressively grooved handle and a smooth handle and offers the advantages of both!!!:thumbup:

I'll try to get some close up pics by tomorrow. . . .

Let's drink!

So it shouldn't be long before we can start ordering then? :D:thumbup::eek:

I gotta a tree picked out for it already. :D

I would like to see this next to a dog father. Seems to have a very similar blade profile. I too am not a fan of the handles but after I hold one I may change my mind.

I have to agree. Maybe a second groove option could be offered?? IMHO, its such a long elegant blade design that the horizontal groove actually takes away from that. That being said, I'll still buy one.. or two...

I'm not really sold on the handles either so I can't wait to see the pics .... it'd be cool to have a machined or smooth handle option as well !!!

These look awesome, great job. Simple, clean design...

I think the handles look good. The tree bark pattern on tan micarta looks like real wood.

I have faith that these guys have tested the tree bark handle to make sure it feels good when chopping and bush-whacking. Given that, I'm happy to give it a whirl.

that sage/tan is doing it for me!![[also like the muddy/tan.]]
and the new handle design looks great jerry..

WOW, Boss!!

How about a pic of black and Tan slabs, please?

That'll be my choice of grips. Now whether it'll be satin, DC, or black...........

Choices are killing me.

I think that this is the complete package. The coolest design in the 3 years I've been collecting Busses. I love the bowie clip, the tree bark texture and the thin stock. So freaking excited to get one!!!
