As much as I love this design ... and I do ... I've not given up on an INFI machete (12" to 14").Our time will come!
Still not a fan of the straight handle groves, but I'm going to suck it up and buy at least one anyway.I'm sure it'll work just great, and look better then I'm expecting when I actually get to see/hold one.
The Bushwacker handles have a unique "tree bark" pattern. They are not simply straight parallel grooves. . . they vary in width and depth!!!!! :thumbup: This pattern is a hybrid between an aggressively grooved handle and a smooth handle and offers the advantages of both!!!:thumbup:

Love the blade, but as a few have said; the machined handles really aren't doing anything for me.
Never thought I'd say this but I think I might actually prefer hand smoothed on this model! :foot::foot::foot:
