I feel for you brother, my regret for not grabbing the ffbm years ago still lingers.... normally I prefer that they don't re release a blade I happened to grab...but I feel bad for anyone that wasn't paying attention the week of jan 27th ..can't imagine getting back from a camping trip on like Feb 3rd only to see that WTF pic from a week ago...ouch!! I was at my in laws that morning..when "beep" I got the email.. I was half asleep when I saw the ash2/WTF pic an the family thought I was having a seizure... passing on this blade was not an option for me...when my wife saw the pic, she didn't even try to stop me.. even if it made my wtf a little "less rare" I'd be all for Jerry offering a very short re release for those who missed it.. I'd even try for a BG...if it was possible at the time..For those of us who hesitated (or just passed out with shock for a few days)... Can we get another go at this? Pllleeeaaasssee bossman????

Dang!! I was hoping to have my WTF to show off to the Cali side of the family this trip. I was on my favorite scenic drive through the Mojave desert today..car thermometer said 118 in Baker Ca...toasty fellas ..toasty!!
I still think this thing is going to be too heavy to do more than cut up one 2x4. Hognose War Sword for life!![]()
Look forward to the smashy videos regardless.
No Doubt, The Hognose with a 16 inch Blade should be much lighter-What?

And I wasnt looking forward to wearing tights an trading my truck for a mighty steed...so I pass on getting a swordWar Train Fusion for life!!
I will say tho.. "if" I ever got a sword..it would be the hognose...
I can't tell if there's sarcasm there or not, I'm slumming it with Jim Beam today and may be off my game(nope, definitely off my game, whoo). Regardless, I think for practical use there is going to be some real competition between the WTF, Hognose, Huck, BB13, and maybe the Team Gemini monster that I can't remember at the moment. The more the merrier! I got dinged for my DT BM two weeks ago, should be getting that darling in soon to add to the chopping crew.
I would agree 100 percent with this statement, I think there well may be a couple of knives that will outperform the WTF-and yes there may have been a bit of sarcasm in the other post-Enjoy your Jim Bean Brother-Cheers
Think youll like DTBM grogimus. Grinds are better than even expected. It is a respectable 25oz. Only 2 Oz more than BWM at 3/16! How the hell that's possible haven't the slightest. Dguard is 27oz.
