Busse Combat Office Is Closed Due To Bad Weather

Jerry will probably show up in a little while driving a snow plow and sipping on a CBL. :D

After reading this,... i walked outside to get the morning paper... i reached out my arms to the sun for a good stretch... feeing the warmth of the sun and looking around the beautiful skyline.. I thought about the poor unfortunates who are shoveling snow out of their driveway right now... and I had a great big belly laugh. CA does have some redeeming points.

I Feel Bad Cause Here In The Island Is Sunny !!!!!

Don't feel badly for us, just send sunny thoughts! Spent a few days in PR a few years ago. Loved it! Just knowing there is warmth out there somewhere is inspiring.

NE of Resin, we've had a couple inches today. They're still saying 15" by tomorrow this time.

Stay down Amy-O, no more shovelling. BTW - we put in a generator two years ago for just such a contingency.

Take care folks....Spring is near.

Me and my little deaf dog are doing as well as we can.................other than being BORED

BE GOOD JAXX.................BE SAFE and you better hope that I do not get 27 inches of snow.

...Are ya gonna go see my new movie? I need a crew to shoot it at BLADE, LOL you can strangle me over the 27 inches then. :D

take care, gang- and stay safe!

remember- whiskey doesn't actually keep you warm. but it gives you a nice illusion of warmth. :D

I remember living in the mid-west for a few years and going through that weather. Once in a while I kind of wish I could go visit a friend at the right time and see it again.

But today in
San Francisco, after getting pounded by a nice wet Pacific storm all night, it is absolutely gorgeous! The rain and cold air have made it very clear out. I just ran a short errand on my bike and I could see well beyond the Farallon Islands which are 27 miles off shore. I wish I could play hooky later and ride to the top of Mt Tamalpais, from there, on a day like today the view must be very near 60 miles.

Tony, are you in the Marina district? How many road miles is it to the top of Mt. Tam?

Not much winter here.
50 F outside but the weather sucks, it's raining most of the time.
Take care Amy and thanks for getting my SOWs out before the Blizzard.

Bunch of snowbabies. ;)

At least my INFI went out yesterday. THat's all that REALLY counts, right? LOL

They are forecasting mostly rain for us now. I hope that's the case. I'd like to go thru thsi whole season w/o snow. We did it several times in the late 80's/early 90's. I think in HS and college I had a total of 3 snow days. And NONE of them during college.

You gotta be kidding me? Sheesh. Haven't seen snow in a week or so, the roads are clear.

Hopefully you'll keep busy. Build a snow fort. Just remember "It's for the neighborhood kids" ;)

We just wanted to let everyone know that Busse Combat Office and the Shop is CLOSED because of the unfortunate weather conditions in Ohio. We are located in a remote location and we could not make it in to work. We are under a Blizzard Warning.

Amy-0

If you had any hills out there in Wauseon, you could go sled riding!

Funny, we're having blue skies and sunshine here in Temperance! ( I wish!)

Oh well, It's a good day to catch up on all your favorite sit-coms on the CW WTO5 Toledo...

Pffffffff.... And you guys can't drive in THAT?!? :D :p

Stay safe and hope you have supplies stocked up, just in case. Will keep you guys in prayer "Dear Lord... let the infi come to Bryan". :D But seriously, I will pray you hogs and hogettes don't have problems.

Tony, are you in the Marina district? How many road miles is it to the top of Mt. Tam?

I'll have to guess a little because I keep all my training logs in time not distance. OK I wont guess I looked it up on mapquest from my house to the Ranger station is about 18 miles (have to adjust a bit because Mapquest uses freeways) and from there to the top is another 4.25 miles acording to my "Roads To Ride" Book.

So it is close to 23 miles. One day "wheel sucking" a friend that won the British National Championships and then raced as a pro in France, he draged my AZZ to the top in just under one hour and 20 minutes from my door step. That HURT!!!!!!! What hurt most was that the pace was so comfortable for him that he was chatting most of the way:grumpy:.

But now he has a kid and a job and he's fatter and slower than me:p

HA HA.......I am FROZEN..............cause I had to shovel again:barf:

I thought you guys were just screening my calls. Glad to hear that the reason I haven't been getting through is a blizzard and not that you don't like me ;)

Stay safe and talk to you soon

:D:D

I tried calling Amy-0 direct and still couldn't get thru. That storm must be really bad. :D

Hey, let's be careful out there.

This was my first snow day off work ever!!!!!!!!!! I could drive to work in the truck but coming home on the snow/sleet/snow drifted shut roads would have been an adventure;)
