Busse Combat Office Is Closed Due To Bad Weather

Jaxx-that shot was taken at home in the Texas Panhandle about 3 weeks ago. I couldn't believe how that stuff froze like that coming off the roof. the roof! The roof! The roof ain't on fire!!! :D I'm headed across the PA Pike to I-276 to the NJTP to Cranberry,NJ. Finally stopped snowing here in Carlisle. Here's another pic. check out the wicked icicles. :D

Wow, those are totally insane! What a sight! :eek:

We get our fair share of the cold around here too. Classes were almost cancelled today, and they might be tomorrow too. We also have a blizzard warning going. I was freezing my socks off just waiting for the bus home from campus after night class, and I came home completely covered in snow with nobody to warm me up. Brrrrr. :(

Stay warm, everyone!! :) Thank goodness for hot chocolate and big blankets! :D
 
I just got back from being outside (Yes shoveling) and my garage door was covered with a big ickey drift.......................I am going to say this again..............................................WINTER IS NO FUN!!!!!!

I'm still here, power's still on (hopefully), and the storm is lifting out... We really got only about 3 inches... in SLEET and an inch of snow under it. I doubt that I'll be seeing any mail today, LOL, glad I got those 2 parcels out yesterday! It's SLICK out there, and the temps are dropping with wind increasing.

Happy VD to those who have Significant Others, I am single through and through, so if anybody can clone me an Amy-0 for today, I have some knives to trade!!! LOL :D ;) or those in Indy could just send your GF to go beat up my ex... Don't worry, she's HARDY...LOL J/K, don't go causing violence! I'll eventually get over her entirely... Should just be one more decade... Love suxx :o

You're just pissed that all of your Clark Bars are at the shop and you can't get to them. I'd call Jerry and have him make a snow blower out of INFI and clear a path for you to get to the stash.:D

We had a snow day so classes were cancelled today. Luckily, the flower delivery guy made his way to my house just fine. :D

Sorry, AppleBlossom, not my favorite day... Long story, not worth boring everyone with... short version is that I met this incredible woman (again) on the 11th one year & fell in love head over heels by the 14th... many ago... and well things were great, then not. I still really miss her. I don't recommend LDR's where you both LIVE in different locations... Now, years later here on this forum, concerning my nickname (Mr. 27) kinda cracks me up but always reminds me of her, 'cause her birthday is July 2nd... 1972 (7.2.72). Anyway... HVD!!!

Sorry to hear about your ex-girl. I've been very lucky in that regard. Mrs. OP and I have been an item for, well, probably longer than you've been alive!

Ah, no need to apologize at all. I didn't know if the VD thing was intentional or just some really awful coincidence that I'd failed to notice before (imagine getting VD for Valentine's Day... oh that would suck on soooo many levels :thumbdn: ).

I'm sorry things didn't work out between you and the incredible woman. I have to admit I've had a tough time with the long distance relationships. I was in one for three years, and I know all too well that they definitely aren't the way to go unless it's incredibly temporary.

Regarding the drinking heavily, I'll be right there with ya in about five weeks. ;)

Hmmmm... I'm feeling very agitated tonight... some NEW INFI would help, but since the crackdown, it's been yawn city in there :yawn: :yawn: ... Although I did snatch a 3-fing yesterday, nice little knife. Perhaps a wild ride in the truck with bare feet and Grey Goose might work it on out. :thumbup: :cool: No one is out on the roads here at all!
