Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
In other words, you like this knife somewhat, but to be perfect in your eyes it would have to be completely the opposite of what it is...

Not the opposite, but as it is, it looks to me like training rubber knife IMO,,,,but nice nickel silver or stainless hardware, combined with wooden scales plus coating off the blade, finished in nice mirror polish would give that blade beautiful classic taste, that's all
So you want a Busse to look like a DUK is what you're saying?
Wow! Thanks for letting me in on the exclusive deal!
Are you going to buy one too? I sure am!
No problem, anytime mate! No, I am not going to get any Busse anytime soon, because I am filling piggybank for few large Randall models 12 at this moment in long haul term.... In short term another piggybank for two other knives, Kyzliar DV 2 c and for so much hated by few individuals here in BF - famous Outback Bowie, just to see for myself where it really stands....
Why you keep commenting on DUK in relation to Busse so frequently I can only explain, that you know I liked one of their knives (The Outback) - which is according to me hell lot of quality, durable massive blade manufactured with the leather sheath for 190bucks USD,,,,,
Apparently. A shoddily constructed tang and an unidentified country of origin would probably make it perfect.
I just want to make sure I got this all straight (and maybe save other folks a lot of time sorting through posts)....the DUK Outback...the knife that all other knives are to be judged by....this knife....
...the knife whose quality you have defended tooth and nail....the knife you have used to claim Busses are overpriced....you dont have one. Correct?
I think we figured this all out a while ago:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1348044-I-love-Down-Under-Knives
Let's all pay close attention to the last post in the above thread.
And the phrase used to describe the banned from here, unknown country of manufacture, low quality DUKs was "undeniable quality".![]()
Those, who are judging me here for what I like and what I don't - claim following: , I must own it before being able to express my feeling or opinion about it......
The very same people,,,,, however feel somehow entitled to judging me and criticise very same knife,,, without ever owning it..... and with no first hand experience, as they demand from me....
Who is the fool here, its clear to me.
I don't take away from you, your own taste in blades and your own instinct about what is good and bad for you and most certainly never trying to make fools out of you guys, and apart from some of you, I can accept and understand your preferences and liking here, while you are unable to do the same and seemingly are not willing to stop in what you are up to in this matter....
Best of luck to you, I am laughing on some posts here![]()

Please. Everyone wants one? You're projecting.oh i think most knife guys want one, but they aren't super easily had. the flippers try to corner the market and supply and drive the prices up. the made in batches setup move fast..... snooze you lose routine. they aren't exactly cheap(and for good reasons. good materials done well, high quality, top notch warranty and very high demand for the supply). money issues aside i'd imagine everyone would would like a piece of infi steel. i know i would. only the ultimate stubborns would pretend to not want one.....
So of all the knives you have spoken about in this thread, whether you hated on them like Busse or loved them like randel and DUK, which ones have you owned and what are your experiences with them?
You see, expressing opinion is fine. However to have credibility you must have experience in what your are expressing opinion about. I don't think that is too much too ask. You have claimed that DUK has "undeniable quality" yet you have never used one. How are we supposed to take your opinion on DUK as credible?
The only experience I have with DUK is exactly what I state and not one bit of it is opinion, it is fact. Banned from here. Won't say where they are made. Shady company. The other knives I has expressed opinion on are knives I own and use. You will not gain credibility here endlessly praising and arguing to the death in favor of knives you have never owned. Sorry.
It always amazes me how people jump to defend anything Busse does-even to the point of saying they're doing you a favor by not including even a basic sheath in spite of what is a hefty price tag on all of their models. Let's stop kidding ourselves.

You just nailed it, spot on.
