Busse CPM-3V

While it's expensive compared to a machete, it looks like a high performance piece of steel. It's a lot cheaper than a K20 and at 16" might be more effective in a hallway. The 62HRc flex is impressive, it's a logarithmic scale.

Curious of the edge geometry on the cut tests.

And didn’t sell out in mere seconds like the K20. And half the price of a K20… ;)

Couple of notes for you High-Performance-HOGs. (HPH)

We intentionally made sure that the bent sword was visible in the Rockwell test pic, as the goal was to show that, not only was it able to survive that ridiculous degree of bend, but survived that bend at 62Rc.

On a side-note, ALL of these tests were performed with the same sword!

If you saw some of the House-Only-Grade videos (HOG Videos) that were meant for in-house only purposes, and you saw what this sword went through from start to finish, with the enormous number and severity of bends, etc., your minds would be blown!!!

We didn't publish the HOG Videos because the danger of someone out there trying to duplicate the tests we performed was determined to be too risky.

Perhaps, when we finally have our HOG Homecoming, we can show them then!o_O:cool:

The K20 is a NICE sword and he only put up ~100. Went in less than 2 minutes. Wait time is one to two years though.

We're on the 4th iteration of these Busse swords with the new ResC handle.
Lots of people already have them in hand, and others are probably waiting for the bigger versions.

Yep. I was one who had planned to get in on the first run of the K20. So much for that… Here’s to hoping he makes more! The first batch is getting close. Recent pic posted over there is drool-worthy!!! 😎

I have the TNT also, and my Free Rein should be here Tuesday. Looking forward to it! 👍

Jerry, any idea what the edge angle is on the sword in the test vids?

Jerry Busse Jerry Busse any idea how INFI would stack up to 3v in testing? Not the bend test necessarily but overall in Toughness, edge stability, ease of sharpen ability and stain resistance?
We are running some INFI "Free Rein" swords along with some other steels in this next batch in order to do a direct side-by-side blind comparison with the exact same geometry.

We will publish the results when they are ready.

Should be fun!!!

We NEED to know when and where!!! 🤯 😎

Excellent, thanks Boss! 👍

I am very much looking forward to that!!! 😁

You’re killing me, Boss!! Trying to save the last of my shop credits for the prophesized folder. Should I keep the faith, or convert??
