Let's combine ideas into a great idea:

Make the same frame and 4" folder, but use different blades and standoffs/spacers for each line; bronze washers, crossbar lock or something ingenious the Busse team came up with.
Busse Folder: harpoon w/ penetrator tip, flat saber-ground INFI, this is the bomb-proof thickness. Special Micarta/G-10 scales/inlay/onlay (Snakeskin/Stonehenge/Tequila sunrise/etc.).
SYKCO Folder: tanto, compound grind (hollow on the long primary bevel, but flat at kissaki), SR-101, less thick than Busse Folder. Res-C inlay/onlay.
Swamp Rat Folder: trail point / Persian slicer, Magnacut/SR-101, thinnest off the three folders at 0.10". Full height flat grind. Micarta/G-10 scales/inlay/onlay.
Swamp Rat Folder Alt.: Sexy Wharncliffe or Rats' teeth (New blade profile: just like'em rat teeth... Or a 'modified' sheepsfoot), Magnacut/SR-101, less thick than Busse Folder. Res-C inlay/onlay. Ragged micarta scales/inlay/onlay.

A Yard keeper blade profile, 3.75 - 4 inch blade .160 stock, frame lock, micarta inserts, high RC INFI (Or SR101, Elmax, Magnacut - any steel with Busse Heat Treat for that matter, 154 CM will do).

Imagine a SOB folder 👍👍

If it isn't INFI it isn't a real Busse folder IMO. The locking mechanism is the real mystery. I think it's going be a Jerry Busse designed take on a button or back lock. It's gotta be so strong.
 
How about INFI steel with a shark lock, collab with Demko. Obv not gonna happen, but that would be one tough folder.
 
I would think they lean more towards an overbuilt Strider/Dalibor type tank build. Something slim and thin would be easier for you animals to destroy…Which make me wonder if there with be a specific folder carveout in the warranty.

When Busse releases the folder. It will be a real Busse folder. The rest is a mystery.

Of course if Busse makes it it's a Busse, I was just agreeing with David Brown. There was the Swamp Rat Rat Trap S30V liner lock that was made for them. I guessed blade-tech due to the look of the knife but we never found out who made them.
 
INFI wasn’t designed for folders. Busse has been in the knife game for a looong time. They are finally releasing a folder. It doesn’t have to be INFI.
 
I like 20cv better than any other current steel but I would love to see BG42.

Magnacut deserves a Jerry Busse heat treat. I'd be super excited for it just like Spyderco and Caruthers working their magic on it. They need one in INFI too though for all of us that have been waiting for YEARS!!!
 
I’m hoping it’ll be offered in INFI at 58-60, and in Magnacut in 60+.

Even more than that I hope they design it with a substantial guard/quillion. A flipper with a nice wrap-around guard ala Rodent 7, 9 would be amazing imo.
