Busse Folder Steel

Let's combine ideas into a great idea:

Make the same frame and 4" folder, but use different blades and standoffs/spacers for each line; bronze washers, crossbar lock or something ingenious the Busse team came up with.
Busse Folder: harpoon w/ penetrator tip, flat saber-ground INFI, this is the bomb-proof thickness. Special Micarta/G-10 scales/inlay/onlay (Snakeskin/Stonehenge/Tequila sunrise/etc.).
SYKCO Folder: tanto, compound grind (hollow on the long primary bevel, but flat at kissaki), SR-101, less thick than Busse Folder. Res-C inlay/onlay.
Swamp Rat Folder: trail point / Persian slicer, Magnacut/SR-101, thinnest off the three folders at 0.10". Full height flat grind. Micarta/G-10 scales/inlay/onlay.
Swamp Rat Folder Alt.: Sexy Wharncliffe or Rats' teeth (New blade profile: just like'em rat teeth... Or a 'modified' sheepsfoot), Magnacut/SR-101, less thick than Busse Folder. Res-C inlay/onlay. Ragged micarta scales/inlay/onlay.

INFI for the first run and nothing else.
w/4 or 5 inch blade

then ElMax w4" blade and maybe a 3.5" or 3.0" blade

That is what I am hoping for .

Till then these work pretty well ;)

Four way pocket clip. 🤞 I find a 3.5" blade perfect but 3" to 4" is ideal for EDC. I always imagined a Busse Folder looking like a mix between a Severtech Spartan clip point and a Spyderco Manix. Can't wait to see it.

If it isn't INFI, I'm not sure I see the point.
But, if it isn't INFI, there seems to be only one or two other options: SR-101 or ELMAX.
I'd love to see it in S90V, but I know that's a pipe dream.

If there are other options. Then there are better options than sr101 and Elmax. If Busse is ready to evolve into the folder game. They should go big with the best steel possible for a folder.
INFI is badass and crazy tough. Best steel for a folder? Probably not.
SR101 is awesome. But not nearly corrosion resistant enough for a folder.
Elmax is probably the best choice of the 3. But why stop there? Why not find the absolute best steel possible for a folder?

I would argue that SR-101 wouldn't be a bad folder steel. I EDC a Para 3 with 52100 blade and that thing rocks. Put a patina on it, never had an issue with rust or corrosion. Best? No. Best combat folder steel? Probably not. But a very good performer, yes.
I just feel that at the thinness of a folder, INFI may not have the best attributes. Not sure about M-INFI tho. But otherwise, MAGNACUT!

If it has a cutting geometry of a folder and it's INFI, hopefully it'll be run at 62 RC, otherwise it's wasted INFI...
Unless Jerry came up with double piston modification to the 'ole back lock that allows merciless batoning... wait a second! I've got to go and patent that design real quick!!!

Infi would be my knee jerk guess but who knows what they have up their sleeve. I just hope it’s a frame lock and has a smooth action, preferably a flipper but I could live without that if it were smooth and a frame lock. I know Busse will choose a good steel even if they don’t use infi.

Infi first if its a tough hard use blade or possibly 3v.. if not than definitely magnacut or elmax.
