Busse & Jeeps

I have a Cherokee,,,:o

Cherokees can wheel too! Don't let anyone tell you different. Tjs are cool, but a stock tj ain't any better than an explorer (maybe a little :D) at the end of the day it's all about the driver sir, and some fool with 35s on a 35 who pops a shaft will be beggin you for a lift.

To those concerned about Jeep Owner Membership:

Jeep owners know that Jeeps are SERIOUS BUSINESS.

Here's the list: Jeeps> Land Rovers> Hummers> Honda Civics

Any questions?

(Yes, hummers are next to last! Feel free to gripe, thats half the fun!)

You forgot

FJ40 Cruisers >Jeeps> Land Rovers> Hummers> Honda Civics

I grew up driving a 1975 FJ. Bone Stock. Only thing we ever did to it was add rubber when they wore out. We put 200,000 miles on it, and sold it still running all the original gear, including clutch, transmission, and engine. It is still driving around town.

That thing was an off road beast. A bunch of our friends drove built FJ Cruisers, including the father and son who were rocking a 454 small block super charged, and a 400 small block supercharged, built suspension and heavy axle swaps etc. . We never got left behind in our stocker, except when they went really deep in the mud (including the one time the kid with the 454 and snorkel went over the top into a "stream" crossing we told him was way too deep. that's ok, we winched him out.

I'm old, maybe too old.

My Jeep started life as a CJ-7.

I added/modified;
spray Herulined YJ body
Trx tires
trash canned the computer
1" poly body mounts
good shocks and steering stabilizer
front springs
worked the carb a little
better flow exhaust
new seats
TJ roll bar
5 point harness for driver
radio? who needs a radio

She's way too ugly to take pix of, but she's mine
