Busse Khukuri

Here are some drawings from a year ago!. . . . What do ya think of these?. . . Which one do you prefer?. . . .

Jerry

The bottom looks beefier (3-4 ounces).

Weight + INFI = Incredible Chopping

That flat spine would be nice for some special LEs with serrated or a saw spine.

Top one without a doubt. Make it with the corrugated blade, if you're going for a kukri, make it different than the others. Also make it 18-22" OAL, and 3/8-1/2" thick at the spine.

ETA: Might be cool to use a kimnd of Falcata profile, like the HI falcata:

Please make both just like the successful lines of CGFBM and FBMLE. We will be happy to snap them up like schools of hungry sharks whenever they are available and collect them as many as we can. Let's face it, there aren't enough heavy Busse blades going aroung. Do you know how fast those FS FBMs disappear? Jerry, please, you do have the responsibility to satisfy the INFI need of your loyal followers.

coupchoux. Nice photoshopping. How about doing one of the top one !!

Bring the Khuk Jerry

I like them both. I sure can't afford either (unless some rich old couple hits me in their car while I am in the cross walk).

Good job all on bringing this thread up from the depths.

Now that has just got to be as close to the drawing specs as you can get! Great Job....but my favourite is the top version....it's more of a Kukri blade IMO.

i like the bottom pic and the photoshop skills are excellent but I just think the top will be livelier and quicker. More older style khuk shape which I really like, The bottom blade is profiled off a WW2 model (I think). I've always liked the more rounded cuve spines, the lines flow better but again it's down to personal choice. That's the great thing about khukuris, there are so many styles. I know Jerry make one a year !!

Very cool Coupchoux! They'd be expensive... and heavy... but worth it.:)

Bottom one, please! A Busse kukri would be awesome and terrifying! A true HogZilla!

great thread...let's see it in full convex!
