Busse Khukuri

:p

Give me a choil exemple Brendan (a real Khuk pic for exemple).

Taking the last bit of edge parallel with the choil....almost like a small scandi section of the blade would be interesting....thereby loosing the point and having a small straight edge to work with.

The curve and point could be useful on some tasks though....carving eye holes for a needle....may help with the bowl aspect on a spoon....would'nt know for sure till you could try it for real.

Coupchoux,

Here is a picture of a Khukri which shows a spanish type notch where we want a finger groove choil....you can see that the recurve by the notch is not as steep as on your last design and avoids a "point"....so if we were to give a smaller depth to the choil on the side with the blade edge so that the edge could run parallel or flat at the end then I think that would assist.

Edit - You did it while I was looking for a photo!!! Brilliant......!!!! Absolutely Brilliant!!!

harmonica that is close to perfection. If you look on Jerry's drawing you will notice the handle has more angle to it. If you could alter the handle on your masterpiece slightly I think it would make the lines of the blade work a little better (I am being very picky as this last render is %^&$ing mint). That first render you did had such wicked lines.

You will be instrumental in the creation of this blade, Jerry is going to look at this and think WOW !!

Thanks for all your hard work brother !!

Coupchoux,

Just to give you a basic idea of the clip with serrations I mentioned....here is a diving knife I had the modifications done on. Not sure whether this could be of a help....I love it the way it is....but would be interested to see what you could do on this aspect if possible. The clip would not need to go back as far as this knife....just a short clip to enable the cutting of a notch....

The bottom one for me, in Combat Grade spec!
A thick, heavy 0.32inch blade will be awesome.
Bring it on Jerry (but after the FOLDER please)!

liked the sense of humour on the cork screw. WOW ! What a knife, where can I order 1 ??

Thanks for the work mate
