One thing I have noticed over the last few years as a supervisor of staff is that nowadays everyone wants things done up for them and handed to them on a silver platter. No one wants to spend a few minutes actually doing some work and looking for things. Mabey they never learned the fine art of how to find things out on your own, I don't know. My dad was one of the "Queen's cowboys" (RCMP for those who don't catch the slang) in Canada, and one of the many things he passed on to me was the point that if you want or need info, get off your derriere and dig for it. It seldom comes up to you and says "here I am". Ditto here, there's a ton of refferences and info in here, but it does require a bit of work. The older staff I work with seem to have a grasp of this basic fact, but I've noticed lately that the newer folk seem to think that this should be done for them. Oh really? Man, to think back in the days before the net, how did we ever find anything out?
(Gawd, this is scarey, at 44 I'm starting to sound like the old man! He was right!)
This stuff is enough to drive a man to drink, but the walk will do me better! Cheers JB!
