Busse Tattoo?

Go ahead Jaxx. I see, with your 4,400+ posts, you don't have much of a life outside this forum.

:yawn::yawn: Is that the best ya got? Such a tired line. Jeez, here I figured that you could "enlighten me" with your wit & intelligence... But I see that all you have is your intolerant attitude. Lemme guess... You're a "people" person, LOL.

We're supposed to be feeding at the trough today - not feeling the trolls!

Worst you can do to this guy is ignore him. Let him wallow in his own ignorance all by himself, regardless of how wrong he is!

I'm looking to get more on my upper arms. Maybe shoulder area....

I'm working on one now...

If I do it, I'd have to either get it on my leg, and it would be my first leg tattoo :barf: as I've never been a fan of guys with their legs tattooed (no offense intended) or in my armpit    which is more pain than I deserve at this point in my life. Plus I don't want to take the time off of work to recover from an armpit tattoo. The armpit gets SWOLLEN! :thumbdn: Which makes it, for me anyway, the only "tough guy" tattoo. A lot of the Brazilian Jujitsu fighters will have their under arms tattoed and possibly nothing else. It's very painful compared to about everywhere else. The ribs are a killer too! Believe me, if you get your armpit and ribs tattooed, YOU ARE A TOUGH GUY OR GAL! Unless, of course you cheat with pain meds, which I have never done. A Busse Combat tat would have to go on pain-med free!

Can you guys see the pic?

I can't see it in firefox but I can in other browsers....weird....

I tried a couple of trixx, but no, I still can't see it. Just a box with that red 'x' in it.

if he wants a tattoo of a box with a red x, that's his business.

no regrets.

Of course it is! :o:o

LOL:D

Yes... please keep trying! :) I'm now curious, myself.

I almost shot Harp through my nose...too funny...:D

I never had trouble with a pic before...this is troubling...

I quit. I need to e-mail this to someone and have them try their luck. Any help?

I'm not partial to the image, but MAN that is killer color rendition. I wouldn't mind knowing who that artist is to see some of his other work. one of the hardest things to find in a tattoo artist is translucent color rendition (among a lot of other art styles and skills).

seriously. awesome color on that one.

I found the image HERE. Hopefully this'll help you track the artist down.

pain is good :D, it reminds you that your alive. reminds you how good it is to not feel pain.

I've gotten both electrolysis and laser hair removal done on my armpits, and both of them are pretty brutal. the last ten minutes of the last electrolysis session had... something, I don't know what, go wrong. the current wasn't being concentrated on the follicle anymore and it was going straight into my body. either she started inserting to deep (which results in the current being concentrated in punctured tissue, rather then in the follicle walls), or I was sweating so much that it was running across the surface of my skin.

the hair was standing up on my arm for a good long while afterwards.

the laser hair removal really makes it swell afterward. the electrolysis makes it red and sore, but the laser, that just beats the crap out of everything.

I'd be willing to get a small tattoo there just to feel what it feels like. I had a bet with a friend (who had a bet with another friend), that to help him follow through on his end of the bargain, I'd get a tattoo in the same place as him (a place faaar more sensitive then the armpits).

it woulda been fun. so far the little bit of the caribou horn that crosses my nipple was the most intense I've gotten, worse then the ribs but at the same time more tolerable because of its intensity.

it's those slow building pains that really get to you. theres a point at which the overload just becomes comical and its hard to keep from laughing.

oh yeah, I'm a scuuuumbag.

*three missing, but those are personal. rather, they are about people and events, rather then ideals, abstract representation and aesthetics*

excellent. I'll be in omaha nebraska for the next year, possibly the next 5 years wich is not to far from des moines. I'm thinking that this cool aid fellow could actually do a mucha piece justice. I've got two half sleeves I've wanted for a while, I just haven't had the money.

Last Visible Canary - awesome pics on the facebook link! I'd like to see how the "fixed" name carving turned out.

A few years back after I broke up with a gf I ended up getting pretty drunk and carving the word "alone" in my leg with a hot knife. I thought it was gonna look great but after I sobered up I realized it looked like shit, and knew it was gonna heal up terribly.

I'm actually really ashamed of it and rarely ever think of it unless I see pics like yours. It's mostly surrounded by hair and nobobdy would ever see it unless they looked hard or I pointed it out.

Despite my failure though, I always find scarification tats very appealing! Especially when the keloids turn out scary-big!
