Last Visible Canary - awesome pics on the facebook link! I'd like to see how the "fixed" name carving turned out.

Despite my failure though, I always find scarification tats very appealing! Especially when the keloids turn out scary-big!
the heavy keloid scars look cool (when they reach almost 1/2" thick), but I've never found scar tissue to feel all that great. I've got scar tissue from piercings that still hurt like crazy any time it gets cold.
it's just a set of razor lines, so you can't see it with how hairy I am. If I have my arm shaved, it looks like a set of razor thin boxes. which is basically all I wanted to achieve. skin heals up pretty good when its just a straight cut like that. in order to have something truly visible, you need to remove (or damage) a strip of skin, at least 1/8" wide. anything less then that tends to heal up small and is easily lost in body hair (if you have it).
I'm not ashamed of it, though it was a stupid thing to do. it represents what was.
the skull and cross bones is just funny and childish. I laugh thinking of it, which is not a bad thing. I'm glad its not a tattoo, and that it blends in well. it's a hidden memory, that you can't see at a glance. I like the skull and cross bones, its just much to generic of a symbol. my one rule for tattoo's is that it either has to be classical art, or it has to be be drawn/created by me. something that can't be recreated without a direct copy. so, no go on skull and crossbones tat's for me.
