surprised to see a dogfather on ebay. If I didn't already have one I'd be all over it. There is also an ASHBM selling dirt cheap right now with 2 hours left. I thought about jumping on it, lol. But I am done buying for a month. I want Swamp INFI

Dan and Josh both "interacted" with me a bunch at Blade only a few short months ago ?
I have seen Josh post recently as well, so I would not say MIA just busy ?

In talking to them in person, at the show, they have both been super busy with getting all these different models out to us.
And doing a great job I might add.
30 different models in about a year is way more than any of the over 15 years I have been a Busse fan.


Have you tried calling the shop with your concerns ?
 
Dave, one of the Dogs called the shop about an order and spoke with Patti Busse. When he asked about the Yard and Swamp she side-stepped the question, providing NO answer. This does not bode well.:(
 
Grand Reunification Theorem : I think they used to be a lot more separated, and have gotten closer and closer over time. A combination of INFI, Res-C, and swamprat design sounds perfect to me. Some serious Hybrid Vigor potential

Very scary indeed! I love many of the knives the swamp and the yard have come out with. Not to mention the lower price point helps a lot of people get into the world of Busse. Helped me anyway... I bought a few kin and realized I needed some INFI to help me sleep at night. Really hope they continue on.

My main concern is support. I have a Swamprat rodent 9 that I enjoy greatly and am contemplating buying a ratmandu, but if Swamprat goes away or is absorbed by Busse will they still take care of me if my blade has a problem? My gut says yes, and perhaps it is a stupid question, but the uncertainty has me considering other brands.

I could honestly care less if the three brands are consolidated into one as long as they continue to offer blades at various Hog,Rat,Dog price points.
 
I heard that they're busy making a truck load of scrapivores and hot diggity dog daggers for the grab bags.

I wouldn't worry about it. Their warranty will stand. SwampRat is still going strong and they have knives and hawks available for order right now. They aren't going anywhere.

The crew is busy. They've said it multiple times. O2W has produced unheard of amounts of knives. Throw in the military/LEO special orders that they've said they have and shows even more how awesome they're doing at getting knives to us.

The Swamp is going strong, SYKCO will have a new knife up at some point and Jerry will start hitting us hard with O2W Part 2.

Apparently I make good decisions at 5am while drinking beer; I ordered the ratmandu I was looking at.

I have been away from Busse knives for a while, been collecting balisongs, so I missed the recent craziness.
