Bussekin status

If the mystery of what is going on gets to be too much for you, just call the shop and ask for me directly. . . . (419) 923-6471 . . . Yep, it's that easy. . .

Nice, this is what I love about the brand; a man who cares about his customers.

I wonder if some of you would feel that^^^ way if Busse's Bladeforums site disappeared. The Yard and Swamp means as much to the Dogs and Rats as this forum does to the Hogs. I am a fully inducted Dog, Rat, and Hog, and I appreciate having all three forums. All many of us are asking is about the future of the Yard and Swamp, fully aware that things change with businesses. After all, we have come to think of many of the Busse crew as friends, and have spent considerable money with Jerry and Company.;)

Here's to the uniqueness of all 3 brands.

Long may they reign.

YOWZA!!!

I was just made aware of this thread. . . . .

We are here gang!. . . . buried up to the gills in production. . . . but still here and kicking them out.

We are growing in size and are adding and shifting personnel all over the place to accommodate this growth.:D

Our website hosting group was bought by a different company and everything has been upside down since this happened a few months ago!

Dan just finished wrestling with them over major issues with our shopping cart software and we hope to have these other website issues fixed very soon!

Hang in there gang!

Thank you for your reply.

Jerry, thanks for checking in and replying. I do note, however, that your note does not address the question of why your staff have not been as active on the various forums as the many fans have been accustomed to. Many feel that this community building and engagement with the customer base is a valued part of the Bussekin experience.

And there it is. They are just busy like they've told us multiple times over the last several months.

The swamp and yard have said this? Thought the issue was things had only been heard from the hog crew lately. How did you know the entire time jd?

It's all hands on deck to crank out the o2w offerings plus the contract work (military and law enforcement) that they have.

I can only assume but I've always just though they were all made together. I also assumed there was/is a nice stock of SwampRat blanks so that's why they're still available.

It's been posted many times. Guys would ask about status and someone would answer and let us know they were working around the clock for us and special orders.

They mentioned months ago that the Scrapyard business model was changing and we wouldn't see knives up for sale like we had been.

Things happen in every business. People will come and go but the business will keep going.

I am still here guys. I will admit that the summer does make it a bit harder to post as frequently due to kids in sports. I generally do most of my posting at home once I leave the shop. Having to get home, shower and be at someone's game or practice cuts into that time a bit. Super busy here as well but I will continue to be as active as I possibly can.
