I must say that it tickles me to see folks who put-off Busses and Glocks, and then come-on-over. I was one of them folks so don't throw mud. Get what you like. ;)

It's hard to argue with a Glock. They aint pretty, or fancy, but they get the job done!
I'm a big fan of the tupperware.

Every time a 1911 jams, Gaston Glock smiles.

No disrespect intended, but I do not care for Glocks. I have shot the 17, 22, 23, & 26. I don't care for their triggers or how they feel (fit?) in my hand. Apparently that has been enough to make me a much better shot with a Sig 226, a variety of 1911s, and a S&W 586.

I do think the Glock pricing point and their reliability combine to make them fine weapons for most folks, but they are not for me.

Now, shall I put on my flame-retardant suit???:(

Sig all the way!

Hater! ROTFL!!!

My Glocks are my go-to guns. I have. . . nevermind how many I have. LOL I will say the 27 is a hard gun to shoot.

House Gun Glock ,Carry kimber,or Glock , Woods gun Glock , Boat Gun Glock ,Truck Gun Glock .They work for me .Use what works best for you .

I have lots of pistols, and what I carry the most is a Glock 33. I have three of them, I think. Here's a snapshot of the one with an OD frame:

I carry it in a Del Fatti ISP-SS holster.

I'm a Glock man with a 22 and 27.

For those who don't like Glocks, they at least need to realize what all the Glock has done for pistol design in the past years. Look at the new S&W, Springfields, or Taurus... they are nothing more than redesigned Glocks. Nothing origional or creative.

My hat's off to a well working 1911, but other than that, if it's auto, it's just a rebuilt Glock in a different name.

Siperdutytruck knows whats up, it's XD all the way for me.
XD 45
XD 9mm sub compact
wish list XDm 40

Shooting IDPA, I've seen a lot of handguns choke. I like a Glock, most of my friends shoot Glocks (or 1911's, but that's another thread). The XD fits my hand better and I'll be shooting @200-300 rounds through it on Friday (NC State IDPA Championship). I realize that Glock started it all, and I'm glad. The thing that I like about the Glock over the XD is the availability of parts and ease of repair. If, if I keep the XD for next season, I'll buy a back up, so that if it breaks, I'll have something to shoot while I send it back to the factory. If you do manage to break something in the Glock, you can probably fix it yourself:D

Another nice carry pistol is the HK P7M8 or P7 PSP. Here is one of my P7M8s, a hard-chromed one, resting inside of its Del Fatti ISP-SS holster:

I prefer the black (and recheckered by Hogue) grips on my P220 Combat:

The original grips were too smooth, and the color was unappealing:
