Busses and Guns

Kind of the same thing as the mares leg lever actions(like the one used in Zombieland). Legal pistol with the cut off butt stock but if you put a regular butt stock on it is all of a sudden a short barreled rifle and you better have your paperwork in order for it.

I've owned a mares leg in .357. It was cool, but not practical. The flip loading you see in the movies and shows doesn't cycle, it drops the bullet at your feet and gives you an empty chamber. I repurposed the holster for it and it houses my ASHBM now.

Looks sweet man. I just was looking at those and it seems most states allow them without a tax stamp right? How does the nub on the back work? Does it extend out?

The buffer tube has a thick piece of foam on last 3 inches of it. You place that against your cheek, it works great.

I have never been able to flip load a lever.

Never could get the flip load to work on mine either. Too bad cause it looks so cool on TV. Just wasn't the same loading normal so it was sent to another happy home. Wish I would have kept the holster now.

This is a busse in gun pants....

The most reliable knives meet the most reliable guns. Busse themed rifles from Russia. VEPR is "Wild Boar" and the nicest of the AK variants. They come in .223, 5.45x39, 7.62x39, .308, 7.62x54r and 12 gauge.
This one is a "VEPR Super" in .308 flavor.

Uniquely, the .308 version even comes with a boar's head on the magazine. ;)

I need a B13 to go with my others!
edit: This was my 1978th post for my personal reference.

That's a sweet setup tim. I'll have to open up the gun (and Gin) locker here soon......
