I guess I need to get a pic up but I have been loving my glock 42 this summer! So light and compact and on those hot and humid days I just don't wanna wear a full size handgun...pics to come!

Been thinking of getting a 42. How does it shoot?

My problem is whenever I get a small carry gun they never seem to shoot well for me. My hands are just too big it seems.

Here is my First ever pic with a couple of fun toys in the arsenal!

Nice toys!

Why alternate brass up/brass down in side-saddle? IMHO that partially negates a reason for it.

I can understand brass-down for loading the mag and brass-up for loading the ejection port, but alternating just doesn't make sense to me.

You are not the only one. While not tiny I have been fighting with my Colt Defender. Not holding a group like I think it should. Think it is from not being broken in yet. The more rounds I put through it the better it is getting. I have read that they do not like standard 230 ball for accuracy and that seems to be the case. I am going to put another 200 rds down it,has around 100 through it to date. I think after another 200 or so rds it should be broken in then I can get some 200 grain Wilson Combat ammo or other ammo said to be designed for 3 in barrel 1911s and see if it is more me or the pistol. One review I read on it said that 230 ball at 25 yds they could only get 5 to 6 in groups but after running the Wilson Combat and Gold Dot the group dropped to 1.5 to 2 in.

Buy a glock 27, and put a glock 33 barrel in it and call it done. Compact and with the .357 sig cartridge, devastating. Practice with the .40 caliber and carry the .357 sig. It's 1500fps with the corbon loads.

That's what I would do...

Man. You're making me wish I'd have picked up the 27 instead of my 26. I believe that the g26 barrel will go into the 27 and cycle 9mm rounds, but not vice versa due to the g26 slide being cut for the 9mm barrel.

Ah. Well. I could just buy a .40 cal slide barrel and mags.... Or a supressor. Yeah. I'll get the supressor. No question.

Glock 20 all day --- cuz only 10 mm rounds can penetrate Chuck Norris's skin. Lol and no this is not intended to be serious -- so let's not start a cartridge war hahahaha -- but Really -- my Glock 20 is the best, better, and stronger than everything and anything you all have --- even a S&W 500 --- even a cruise missile

The 9mm conversion barrel will work in the 27 but you are right they are not vice versa....
