Busses and Guns

Glock 20 all day --- cuz only 10 mm rounds can penetrate Chuck Norris's skin. Lol and no this is not intended to be serious -- so let's not start a cartridge war hahahaha -- but Really -- my Glock 20 is the best, better, and stronger than everything and anything you all have --- even a S&W 500 --- even a cruise missile

And Anna Nicole married for love... You left that part out of the fictional statements above.... Again like you said all in good fun.

Been thinking of getting a 42. How does it shoot?

My problem is whenever I get a small carry gun they never seem to shoot well for me. My hands are just too big it seems.

Garth

I have no experience with shooting the 42 but have a 43 and was busting soda cans at 20 yds with it last Monday. I do install a lighter trigger connector in all Glocks as the first order or business. At my local police week in May there were 3 of them present with standard connectors, and many people were shooting at a steel IPSC silhouette at 50 yds, hitting from 4 to 6 times per magazine. As for size, I traded away my magazine with finger extension. I absolutely don't want it for pocket carry.

Man. You're making me wish I'd have picked up the 27 instead of my 26. I believe that the g26 barrel will go into the 27 and cycle 9mm rounds, but not vice versa due to the g26 slide being cut for the 9mm barrel.

Ah. Well. I could just buy a .40 cal slide barrel and mags.... Or a supressor. Yeah. I'll get the supressor. No question.

Well, there's no free lunch. The 357 Sig ammo is harder to find, way more expensive, and a pain to reload. I don't recommend a 40 on a 9mm frame even with the upper and mags swapped. The ejector location/angle is different, and that's in the frame.

My local Wal-Mart has .357 sig for $30 per box of 50. I agree with the ejector angle on the 9mm frame

I have a 23 converted to 9mm I changed ejector and extractor to 9mm mod 19 barrel and magazine and after 2,000 rounds of factory ammo and light reloads has never failed.

That's only if you purchase un-watered down ammo, most off the shelf ammo is basically the ballistic equivalent of .40 S&W.

Ahh, G20's are fun guns! My friend has a G20C, even shooting full power 10mm rounds out of it is comfortable. If I remember right he was buying Armscor for plinking since it was cheap and on the lower end of full power 10mm loads.

The grip of the 42 is a bit longer then most other pocket .380's, for what it's worth. I found the 42 easy to shoot; it had nice soft recoil for such a small gun, decent amount of real estate on the grip to get a solid hold on, and typical Glock trigger (ie decent take up, clean break and tactile reset). Definitely the .380 I'd buy.

I carry this when the weather gets warm. It has a 1 3/4" finger extension. Which helps with a full grip and still doesn't print under a t shirt...

I've had no malfunctions in 3 yrs, it's crazy accurate, and the integral laser is cool, if you are into that sort of thing.

Really wanting to pick up a .357 SIG barrel for my G23. My BIL uses a .40 barrel in his .357 SIG with no problems at all. I assume it would be the same the other way around.

Yes those are interchangeable, the magazine's work for both... The 357 sig rounds are great, you can fit an extra one in each magazine. Like if yours holds 10 .40s then it will hold 11 .357s.

Mine holds exactly the same number of rounds in the mag either 40cal or 357 sig, the conversion barrels work great.

On the hunt as I type for Sig's 220 in 10mm.
M67, got on in the shop yet?

Not yet, AFAIK one model was a distributor exclusive and the other model hasn't started shipping yet.

I really want to shoot one of these

Had stuff out cleaning and touching up edges so a pic of old school mixed with new

I would just be concerned with spring or follower problems by potentially overloading these parts over time…..

That would be a problem if glock magazine's ever failed... I've never witnessed it happen through thousands of rounds in the 7 different glock I've owned. Unless the are Korean military they hold up fine.
