Buyer Beware!

20 posts between them both....most of them in this thread, all about another forum, looks like a pile of garbage from two people who dont contribute to bladeforums anyway.

I think this thread should be visible and by Mantzao's own admission I was the only person prepared to send anything to him initially!

His reaction is pretty clear when things aren't going his own way!
Seems that unless people want to sell to Eduardo they are against him!
The thread where I apparently treat him so badly in response to his complaint can be seen here:

What was it that you know was wrong with the scale that made it "far from perfect" ?

He posted photos of them on the other forum shortly before advertising them for sale here. One set was clearly used, to the extent that the painted areas were visibly worn. He also mentions this in the same thread. So, I was curious to see them advertised as perfect over here a few days later. Of course, it's somewhat a moot point, because as I said, there is no proof now of the original post, but would you buy from someone who regularly edits and deletes sales posts as soon as the item is sold? I wouldn't.
Actually, I'm surprised that deletion of sales posts is permitted here (if indeed it is?). This leaves the buyer at a real disadvantage if there is a dispute.

Perhaps you're missing the point? This is a feedback forum, where people have taken the trouble to post their experiences. Of course you're free to act on that knowledge (or not) as you wish.

Getting back to the knife.
When it got there he sanded a bit of the liner where it meets the tang and the knife got rock solid lock up but the knife was too small for him so he returned it.
When I got it back I sold it but I didn’t mention the lock up issue because there was no issue to point out!
The lock up was extremely solid so I sold it as a user.
The funny thing is that the buyer never mentioned any problem with it!
Only you did!

Honestly dude, this wall of text thing is impossible to get thru. Either way, it sounds like your stance is "everyone else is doing it so why shouldn't I?"

If you actually believe that then BB isn't the place for you.

Either way, it doesn't excuse your behavior.

While postings can get modified and deleted here, records of the original posts are saved.
