Hey guys! I just wanted some suggestions on where to buy knives. I'm using eBay right now but I want to buy a $500 knife and I'm not sure I can trust a seller at that price. Has anyone used bladehq.com or knifecenter.com? Can you give me a quick review and your preference. I need to know if these sites are safe.

Thanks for the help.

Both great places to buy. I have bought a lot from bladehq, and I the shipping is always fast and often free (if spending over $99)

Buy from BladeHQ great CS. I have had them hand pick knives for me. Friendly people and pleasant to deal with during process. I've also heard good things about Knifecenter.

Bladehq.com for my money. Great customer service, they actually have a person helping you and you do not have to go through 6 options.

I've always had a great experience when buying from BladeHQ! Just recently traded a custom and received great service from Mr. Justin Bohon.

I've made a few high dollar multiple knife purchases from Blade HQ. They're a top notch company. They also have a representative here on the forum that helped resolve an issue for me. If there's a problem I have no doubt they will do whatever it takes to make it right. Never dealt with Knifecenter before.

Both are awesome places to buy from. I purchased many from both. High end and mid range knives. Can't go wrong with either.

I know many have a positive impression of knifecenter, but I really didn't. I don't even browse there anymore. BladeHQ on the other hand has been absolutely stellar. Never had an issue with a knife I received, fairly generous return policy, really quick shipping (except for the free option, but can you really knock free? Good luck.
