always nice to have and never enough, sick and twisted..... looking at a kershaw leek myself never had one but have played with them and was always drawn to it for some reason, maybe the shape? maybe the assist?? maybe the name?? maybe im sick?I need new steel like I need another hole in my head, haha. You do like to smoke your food. How many times per week do you use the smoker? I have 2, indirect wood/charcoal, and direct electric I got for Christmas. I haven't even used it yet.Through the smoke I see...

Jonny my pork shoulder I rubbed last night was an epic fail today
I tried a new chili powder,cumin, and tumeric dry rub. I had a perfect 8 hour 225. I ended up shaving off the rub and rinsing the shoulder with hot water. The meat was perfect but that rub 
i chopped it up and dumped some dinosaur grill slathering sauce on it and made the save

Since I got my Traeger I've been using it 4-5 days a week. No kidding. It's so easy to use and there's no guess work.
Tonight is bratwurst with onions and mushrooms. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I like a local sauce from Eustis Fl. My son ships me care packages lol It's a mustard based sauce called King Sauce. You can buy it a the Winn-Dixie stores in Florida.Whew! That was close.
What kind do you use. I like Sweet Baby Rays.

Lol I used to send him packages when he was deployed to Iraq All he wanted was Twizzlers, 5 hour energy drinks, and Copenhagen snuff.
Since I moved to NY from FL he says ive joined the Nights Watch on the northern wall lol. He sends me cajun boiled peanuts, pickled pigs feet, and Kings sauce. I gotta Great Kid

Did an impromptu camping trip with the family over the weekend. I forgot how much more work it is to bring the family along versus just grabbing a pack and hitting the trails solo. Still made for a good time and the kids had a blast. I meant to at least get some good knife photography out of the deal but only managed to get a few shots. It was freaking hot and my motivation levels were rather low.... Was way easier to sit in the shade and drink a few cold ones.
