C36GTIP First Look - Military, CPM-M4, Ti/G10!

Someone asked about blade centering and engagement - centering looks (using the Mark I eyeball-crometer) to be perfect, and lockbar engagement is about 50%, which I think is perfect and perfectly safe. It's smooth and wear should not be an issue, since it has a steel facing on the lockbar face. Here's a very quick and somewhat shakey video:

thanks for the video and pictures. How did you get it so fast??

Anyone have an accurate scale? Would love to get a comparison between this and standard g10, and standard Ti

Video isn't working for me. Says it's a private video and you need to reply to a friend request?

Nicely done John, Thank you for the vids and shot of the Edge-u-cation. I'm also a huge fan knifeworks.com and appreciate everything Roger and his staff do. But it's easy for a native southerner living next to Golden to love this knife!

John,

Thanks for the articulate and timely posting. I appreciate your time as much as all the others I'm sure.

P.S. I'm a life long player but I use flat picks (I fancy myself as a lead player) and Ernie Ball thumb picks for finger work. Play pure :)

Don't know if has been asked yet, but does the G10 side have the nested skeletonized liner?

I'm 99% sure it doesn't. With the RIL and overall strength of the g10 - no reason for the liner really. This is a slicer not a prybar... no need IMO

Hi JNewell -

Awesome - thank you!

My first peek at what will be my first Spyderco (excluding bugs etc.)

Thanks again for posting - my example shipped yesterday.

best regards -

John Thanks for taking the time to make and post the videos. We all

appreciate the work you did. It's nice to finally get a look at the knife we've

all been waiting for! :D;)

Jnewell,

Thanks for taking the time and effort to make and post that video. I'll be seeing one of these first hand in a day or two and look forward to it.

My pleasure. It's a great knife, well worth the wait!

I need to take another/better look, and I haven't taken the knife apart, but my eyeball inspection yesterday shows the G10 side being the same as my other G10 and CF Militarys. (What is the plural of Military, lol?)
