Awesome stuff. I'd love to do stuff like that with my son, 'cept he's 3 1/2, and he has a tough time wielding a bow saw. Glad you're getting so much enjoyment out of your new mini-manor.

Thanks man. He'll be 26 before you know it. It sure doesn't take long.Awesome stuff. I'd love to do stuff like that with my son, 'cept he's 3 1/2, and he has a tough time wielding a bow saw. Glad you're getting so much enjoyment out of your new mini-manor.
Thanks man, appreciate it.That's a very nice set of photographs. I really appreciate you sharing them.
That tree was driving me up a wall. Funny thing, I didn't even notice it until I got home and viewed my photos, haha. You wouldn't think taking out one tree would open it up like that, but it did!
Thanks man, we had a blast.Looks like a great place. I'm glad you got to get some father/ son time in before he leaves. I'm loving cabin.
Thanks man. Kinda funny you mentioned that. When we were taking turns sawing that tree down, we were standing on a hell of a slope. I was telling my son that if I fell, he would have a hell of a time getting my 280lb butt back up the hill. He said it would take him a while, but he could do it, haha. He got into weight lifting a few years ago. He now weighs 180, at 5'10". A few months ago, he weighed 220. He said he liked being big, but felt better at a lesser weight. Plus, he's getting into rock climbing now. He's freakishly strong for his size. Gonna miss that kid when he moves away to Denver. Not sure when I'll see him after that. Gives me a great excuse to go to Colorado though. You are a hella photog, Dubz. Great pitchers! Thanks for posting 'em up.
I have two girls, so I think that I will continue to do the bulk of heavy lifting for the rest of my life. Nothing like having a 26 year old man that's your child. I was visiting with a friend last night who has two boys about that age, the older is like 6-5 and 200 lbs. and is freakin' strong. The younger one is not much smaller. I tore my hamstring (water skiing) three years ago while at their dad's lake house, and I was lucky they were there....I couldn't walk, and if they hadn't been there to get me out of the boat, I really don't know what I would've done, I weigh more than my wife and my friend's wife together! The following morning they had left, and it took four guys from the ambulance company to get me up the stone steps and into the ambulance. That was fun.
Thanks again for the photos of your sacred place.
That's some serous macro!
Thanks for the update and pics. Looks like it keeps getting better and better.

Thanks man. I hear ya. Still freaking me out that I own it.I cant tell you how much I would LOVE a place like that of my own.
It's very diggable. You may not know how solid the hill is behind the cabin (you mentioned granite in an earlier post), but is it such that you could dig/jackhammer out a combination storage/storm shelter cave-like structure into it (the hillside, not the cabin)??
Thanks man, appreciate it.Beautiful pictures Warrior! The land looks sweet!
