It's very diggable.![]()
Thanks. Tempting, tempting....not.SO AWESOME!!! Love it!!
Trade you my Jeep for it![]()
You funding all this, lol? Then I'd be digging a storm shelter/root cellar/wine aging cellar. A secure place in the event of tornadoes while y'all are there, a place to store canned goods and age homemade wine where it's a stable, cooler environment. Dig a 8 ft x 8 ft hole in the hill, pour a concrete floor, walls and roof, put a heavy steel door on it (with a high-security padlock) and fill in around it with dirt. Camouflage the entrance by making a covered entry at right angles and encourage kudzu (or the Missouri equivalent) to grow over and hide the concrete for when y'all are not there.
My problem with doing that here in central Texas is.... It's flat, no real hills. Can't go down. The water table is only about 8-9 feet down in dry years, so any attempt at a basement or cellar results in indoor swimming pools.![]()
He'll be that old in the blink of an eye. Doesn't take long. And thanks man, I love taking photos.I hope you I see the day when my son gets to that age.... Or just old enough to mow the freaking yard Lol. Awesome pics as always.
wow, this place is nice! looks perfect!
Thanks man. It';s a lot of fun there, and in the surrounding area.Nice warrior,i would trade my labor day weekend for yours any time...even if it s sunny and hot here![]()
Thanks man.The place is looking great, Dubz.
Looking better and better. I can't wait to see how gorgeous it is once the leaves start changing colors.
Beautiful pics!! You are one lucky guy, sir..![]()
It really is serene. You don't know how many times I tell the wife, "wait", just to hear how peaceful and quiet it really is.It just whispers "peaceful". Thanks for the pics, Dubz. Really enjoyable.....tho prolly not as much as being there.
Thanks man. I'll enjoy it more when it cools off some. I'm getting the clean up stuff done now, but when it cools, and the humidity subsides, I'll do some fascia work, wood restoring, and painting, etc. It's looking better and better. I bet you can't wait to get back out there.
