Sasha brought his niece last year, and the year before that I brought my son's girlfriend. No problems with women there.

It's the kind that fits a nalgene bottle inside. If no takers, I'll send it back to Amazon. I just got it, but I ended up getting another larger cup.

The original date overlapped mother's day, so about a month ago it was moved back a week. Bummer you can't make it.

Only the die-hards showed up for this Bush Bash. Ray, Jason, and I had a weekend filled with way too much food, shooting, and general bumming around. We held the First Annual Bush Bash Shooting Contest sponsored by Laconico Knives. The winner took home a custom Laconico knife! Second place took home a smaller custom Laconico knife! It was an intense contest which included precision (yeah, sort of) pistol, rifle, and bow shooting. The winner took it by the narrowest of margins in a shoot-off.

Looks like a great time with perfect weather. Unfortunately, around Wednesday I caught a nasty chest/head cold that put me down hard for the several following days. I'm still hacking from the damn cough. I'll try to make the next one.
