Calling all Eagle Scouts....

Buck Bros,

I called about ordering the Eagle Scout knife for my son.:D According to Ms. Karen Cook at Buck, all she needs is your Troop Number and date of Eagle Award. No documentation is required as she said we are all on our "Scout's honor" in requesting the knife.:eek: The Troop Number and date is engraved on the bolsters along with the Eagle insignia.:D
$32 and free shipping!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Oh great! I've been trying to call up my old troop leader to figure out where my paperwork ended up. This helps a lot with the knife, but now I still want to know where my papers are.

You can call the National Eagle Scout Association and get a new set of paperwork. All they require, I think, is name, troop number, and year. :) It's doubtless the modern certificate, but still good.

I got my eagle scout in 1983...dang that was a long time ago!

I am going to have to try to get one of these beauties!

I got my Eagle in 1982, shortly before I turned 18.... But I have since lost my medal, card, pins, etc... Still have my old uniform with my Eagle badge, but that's it. I'll call them and see what is really necessary to order one of these beauties.

This is another reason for me to continue to be a Buck customer. Thank you Buck Knives!

Eagle scout w/palm here, checking in as requested, sir.

It seems I will be adding another Buck knife to my collection - and perhaps a few others.

I am taking 4 other varsity scouts with me to Philmont next June/July. All are Eagle scouts...I am sensing a mysterious additional award in our troop in the near future. :D

Good luck on your trip and have fun! I went there twice and I would love to go back. It's nice to get away for about a month. When the time comes let us know how it goes, J.

Thanks John and Jim...

I'm thinking it is birch. Nice coat of lamination on it too.
My first Duke. Exceeded my expectations.

Yep, gonna carry/use it as a true pocket knife. The OAB keeps it from fitting in the sheath.

Thank you for the pics Goose! Hopefully one of my boys goes after their eagle scout badge!
Maybe the Duke will be offered yet! ;)

Would you mind posting a pic of this duke next to one of your 110's? I keep thinking about buying a Duke, but only go half heartedly, I have never seen the actual size of one. Thank you in advance!

Goose where do you get your supply of OAB's? Everytime I go to SWKW they are out of stock???
I need to find these ;) Thanks!!!!!!!

Here are the compare pics Jim.

As for the OAB...I got 'em from SMKW some time ago. If I had a spare, I'd sell ya one for $25...but I use the ones I have for my EDC rotation.

Very nice knife goose, I like the scales as well -- great comparison shot with the 110.

Your 500 appears to be about the same size as the discontinued Squire.

Thanks Goose! That Duke looks like it could be the perfect EDC!!!!!!!

I think I "need" one now ;) $25.00 for a OAB ;) Perfect! They're solid gold right ;)

Jim,

You should get a Duke...you will love it. It is the same size as a 112; just not as fat. Here are some old photo's for size Jimbo.

Thanks jb,

I needed the temptation ;) Now we're just about even LOL
