Camillus and Schrade of Old Given Short Shrift Now-A-Days

Monday was an office day all morning, then took my wife to a late lunch and out to see the movie Champions. This Ulster 58OT was all the pocketknife I needed. OH
Ps. Ed, doing my best to keep your thread alive!

2 Quick Questions, Please forgive me.
1) Is the Ulster 58OT a "medium" 34OT size, or a "large" 8OT size?

2) Are all the Ulster Old Timer knives from the RJR Tobacco Promotion?

Nothing to forgive, if we don't talk knives then these forums have no purpose. The Ulster 58OT measures 3-1/4" OAL closed and is a bit smaller than the 34OT (width and length - it fits in between the 108OT & 34OT). They also used the same pattern and produced knives as the SWC MM2 (Minuteman) and the SWC PR2 (Paul Revere) during the 1776-1976 Bicentennial celebration years (and a Liberty Bell version too, but I haven't seen one of them). I think the Ulster 58OT was only a Prince Albert knife, but I cannot say for sure that it was never sold separate from the tobacco promotional.
This one today.

Some darn nice stuff in this thread. It saddens me so much that schrade is out of business. I carry a 33OT in my watch pocket rotation.

I miss the old days when a boy would dream of a Christmas blister pack containing a sharpfinger and a 34OT.

I sure do love my handful of old timers.

Another Ulster 58OT that I own, this one was my Pop's (Granddad) and then my Dad's until I took ownership about 12 years ago. Normally this one stays on top of a Prince Albert can in my office, but I noticed that is is getting whitish buildup on the Delrin, so into the pocket it goes for a couple days until pocket carry polishes the Delrin back to normal.
