I have always liked Schrade's version of stabilized wood. Here is another 148 that some rascal has boogered up the cutting edge.

What a Wonda full grouping of hard - to-gets!
I remember cutting a lot of extremely coarse rope, it was tough- the serrated edge definitely worked a lot quicker than the "plain"edged knives.

I have a #147 with Wonda Edge.

And not a Schrade/Camillus/Ulster but a Robeson from about 1960 with their "Fluted Edge."

All very collectible and in regards to cordage, very useful. I once had a BUCK 317 folding hunter with a Schrade serrated secondary. Rare as hens' teeth. I let it go. Darn.
